This experimental graphic novel is a diary accompanied by drawings. Through her images and words, we learn about a young Mexican woman living with her donkey in extreme poverty. Referencing the 1966 film Au Hasard Balthazar by Robert Bresson, the story depicts her life on the industrial wasteland outside the capital and what ensues in the ruins when her donkey disappears.
