As an artist and researcher, I explore femicide in Mexico. In this work, I examined the use of plastic bags and duct tape as forensic materials, linking them to the mutilated Aztec moon goddess, Coyolxauhqui, and the Mexican puppetry tradition to disseminate ideas of truth and justice during the Mexican Revolution. The result was the installation of the Ceremonial Ritual at the Old St. George’s Chapel.
